Investigators say that a 38-year-old male was operating his vehicle on Perkins Road, around the 3700 block, when he hit two people. Little is known about the victims. After this incident occurred, police were called to investigate. They claim that the driver was not very cooperative. Ultimately, they were able to place him under arrest and transport him to the prison in East Baton Rouge Parish for booking. He has been charged with a number of offenses, including DWI, resisting an officer, reckless driving and vehicular negligent injuries.
